Classical Jazz Music and Its Audience

  Jazz music is a traditional American music born in the black communities in the times when slavery was still practiced. Member of the African American community of that time would sing to one another as a form of entertainment. This is how jazz music was born.


Classical Jazz Music

There are many different styles of Jazz and one of them is classical jazz music; usually played by a piano, flute or violin. It is mostly done just as instrumental jazz music without vocals.

Classical jazz music is widely appreciated by most music lovers. Even those who do not really enjoy music have found classical jazz music very enchanting and agreeable.

Classical jazz music is not created in the classical music style we are all used to, but it has a bit more life to it which makes it likeable by everyone. An example is Tchaikovskys Nutcracker, which was performed in a jazz version, was widely accepted and appreciated by both jazz and classical music lovers.

  Just like Thanksgiving dinner at grandmas, or a day at the ball park, jazz music has always been an American institution. Listening to jazz music is one of those things that most people have spent time doing at some point in their lives.


When music is offered at no cost it is even more enjoyable. In fact, it can become a win-win situation for both the listener and the musician.

Locally

One of best places to listen to free jazz music is at the free summer concerts that are offered by many cities and towns. Many hometowns host free concerts of all kinds of music. Theres really nothing better than to sit on the cool grass under the shade tree and let the stars serenade you
